Harris House Publishing seeks to produce quality Christian literature that upholds our values. Before contacting us with a query letter, please determine if your work aligns with our vision statement and the following statement of faith.

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.

  • We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in God the Father, who is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He is mercifully involved in the affairs of every person, cares for them, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ the Savior, the only begotten Son of God. We believe in His deity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary atonement for our sin through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His continual intercession for His people, and His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe in God the Holy Spirit, the Helper and Comforter. We believe in His daily guidance, His revelation of truth, His conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and His indwelling presence at the moment of salvation, enabling believers to live godly lives.

  • We believe that everyone is born with a sinful nature, separated from God and in need of salvation. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation through the repentance from sin and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that people are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
